Robert P. Travis is a 1987 graduate of San Francisco's Lowell High School.  In 1991, he earned his B.A. with Highest Distinction at the University of California, Berkeley (Phi Beta Kappa) in two majors:  Anthropology and Geography.  He was also awarded the University’s Departmental Citation in Geography.  Mr. Travis earned his J.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1995.  In the Spring of 1995, he served as a law clerk for the Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund, in San Francisco.  

Since 1996, Mr. Travis has focused his practice on civil litigation, including business, employment, investment, real estate, professional liability, personal tort, and international family law matters.
